Hours: 3:1 rotations
Further Details: 3R Global are currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate and experienced Executive Sous Chef. It is a great opportunity to join an award winning cruise line.
What you will be doing:
- As Executive Sous Chef, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional gastronomic service for travellers.
- You will be leading, coordinating, supporting, motivating, training, and evaluating galley team
- As Executive Sous Chef you will be monitoring and ensuring culinary service is up to the highest standards
- You will be responsible for organizing “mise en place”, appropriate storage, and keeping of goods
- As Executive Sous Chef, you will be responsible for hygiene in the galley in accordance with HACCP regulations
- You will be actively supporting, assisting culinary, and restaurant team
- As Executive Sous Chef you will be responsible for ordering food, as well as stock and cost control together with Executive Chef and will be relieving Executive Chef during his/her absence
- You will be participating in extra duties (i.e. luggage and garbage handling, crew show, loading)
What you will need:
- Culinary school diploma or basic education equivalent is preferred
- Minimum two years of experience in the field of desired position, preferably in a 4 or 5 star restaurant and/or hotel
- Cruise ship experience is a plus
- Proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English
Benefits:
- Tip equally shared through all crewmembers, average of 500-600 Euro per month
- Insurance – management will receive private health insurance throughout the contract, accident and death and permanent and total disability, salary continuation is paid after sick leave longer than 42 days

- Travel expenses policy: the company are refunding a maximum amount of 400 EUR - for first joining and end of the season travel, after regular completion of contract.
