Cruise Shore Excursions Manager - Shorebased - German Speaking

The Company

I am currently working in partnership with an established Cruise company, and have an exciting opportunity for a German speaking Shore Excursions Manager to be based in the Head Office.

The Role

As Shore Excursions Manager you will be responsible for developing tour excursions, and ensuring that the product matches passenger expectations. Due to the importance of Shore Excursion Revenue for the company - this role requires candidates with strong organisational skills, and a good commercial acumen.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Procuring tour programs to meet seasonal deadlines
• Managing relationships with tour operators
• Liaising with the Shore Excursion Teams on the ships
• Negotiating with suppliers
• Continuously improving the shorex product offered

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working in the Cruise Industry
• Excellent German Language skills (spoken and written)
• Shore Excursions experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of global cruise destinations
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent budgeting and management experience
• The existing right to live and work in the EU
