We are looking for an experienced 2nd Executive Chef. As 2nd Executive Chef you will be responsible for managing the Lido preparation, production and presentation of food service and stations. Also assist the Executive Chef with the food preparation, production, and presentation for guests and crew.

The Essentials:

  • Strong understanding of galley dynamics, superior food knowledge, organization, stock planning, crew appearance, and food safety (USPH & HACCP)
  • Assist the Executive Chef in preparing performance reports and make recommendations for advancement of Kitchen crew
  • In coordination with the Executive Chef; direct, supervise and train all kitchen crew under company guidelines
  • Strong understanding of how to implement, execute, and supervise proper maintenance cleaning procedures

The Requirements:

  • 7+ years’ experience in a 5 star+ hotel, cruise ship or high-profile restaurant performing the functions of a similar position
  • 5+ years’ experience in a supervisory position preferably in a multi-nationality setting with a proven ability to provide orientation and training
  • You will have experience in high volume operation of at least 1,000 meals per service.
  • Certification from accredited advanced food safety program is part of your credentials
  • You will be comfortable working with the various software programs linked to reporting, ordering & training and have the ability to effectively read, write and speak English
  • A degree from accredited culinary college is a given

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship and in a 4/5* Hotel or Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
