Health and Safety Manager

The Company

Our client, an established passenger vessel company on the South Coast of England, are looking for a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join their team.

The Role

As Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, you will report into the Head Of Safety Management and enjoy a varied role. You will be responsible for the HSE policies for the companies various offices, and Port Locations. You will review and maintain the HSE policies, and ensure that they are delivered and adhered to at all locations.

You will also enjoy the responcibility of establishing a HSE management system that shall be utilised across all Port locations. As HSE Manager you will champion and cultivate a Safey Culture within the company, ensuring that all personnel have a clear understanding of policies, and that the company is managed in line with company and legislative regulations.

The ideal candidate will have:

-Shorebased experienced working in Health, Safety and Environmental matters
-Experience working as shorebased HSE Manager is preferred
-Degree / Diploma in H&S
-Relevant EHS qualifications eg IOSH, NEBOSH
-Excellent knowledge of Safety Management Systems
-Strong organization and interpersonal skills
-Developed budgeting experience
-Strong leadership skills
-A Valid UK driving license, and the ability to travel within the UK and Europe
