Director Maritime Compliance and Investigations - Maritime

My client is one of the leaders in the cruise industry and has seen significant growth over the last year and have gone from strength to strength - with new builds on order it is a great time to join a company that can offer you the growth.

For the role, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, safety, quality, and environmental management system, and will audit programs, as well as ISM, required maritime safety investigations of non-conformities, accidents and incidents. The scope of this role includes all company brands.

You will have the following background:

- Degree or strong background experience in an operational or technical maritime, oil & gas or transportation industry
- Masters degree in Management, Business administration or safety
- Leadership skills and have experience with managing teams
- To have the ability to speak with all levels of the business
- Strong budgeting skills
- Be able to deal with various projects

Knowledge and Skills

- Good knowledge of ISM, MLC and ISO standards
- Have a strong background in Safety, Quality and Environmental
- Effective communicator with all levels of the business
