Qualification / Job experience

  • Qualified training as a cook
  • At least 1 year of job experience in a modern, high standard hotel’s or restaurant’s Galley, if possible onboard a cruise vessel.
  • Very good knowledge regarding food, ingredients, recipes (modern, international cuisine) as well as food-cost calculations and production control of passenger and crew menus.
  • Knowledge of all cleaning procedures, cleaning agents, chemicals (including storage) and especially of the U.S.P.H. standards.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Starting salary for 1st contract is from 1400 USD
  • Accommodation and meals
  • Contract duration: 6 months On / 2 months Off
  • Travel tickets are provided by the employer
  • Medical insurance

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
