Temporary Guest Relations Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a person with proven experience in customer-facing complaint resolution, to join Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines – a family run company, well known for our quality cruises on modestly sized vessels, and the personal touch we offer our guests, who are predominantly from the UK, many of whom return year after year.

This is a pivotal position, therefore we are seeking a confident, approachable and enthusiastic individual, who will demonstrate an excellent understanding of customer expectations in modern inclusive tour operations.   Being able to work often under pressure, you will be responsible for the delivery of customer service excellence at all times.  Leading by example, you must be highly organized, methodical, and articulate in dealing with all manner of customer issues, yet ever respectful of your fellow crew and officers’ agendas and priorities.

As our ideal candidate, you will have at least 2 years’ experience in a senior complaint resolution position, ideally gained on a cruise ship or in the hospitality sector.  You will speak and write fluent English and possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.  Computer literacy is essential.  Your personal presentation should be professional and immaculate at all times.

STCW basic safety training certification is mandatory.

In return, a competitive salary paid twelve months of the year, a 3 : 1 work rotation of three months on board with one month’s paid leave, a single cabin with private facilities, flights to/from the vessel arranged and paid for by the company, an exciting opportunity to work as a manager dealing with customer relations on one of our vessels undertaking global operations.
