Assistant Purser for Mystic Cruises

V. Hospitality are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Purser to join Mystic Cruises, a Portuguese cruise company dedicated to operating expeditionary cruise programs in the Antarctic and other remote locations. With a focus on offering unique experiences in an eco-friendly way, Mystic Cruises allows guests to explore the unspoiled landscapes of the frozen continent with all the comfort of a five-star cruise ship.

As Assistant Purser, you will report directly to the Chief Purser on-board, to ensure a smooth operation within the financial department. You will be responsible for assisting the Chief Purser with any financial matter on-board and be accountable for Guest/Crew Accounts, Crew Welfare and Payroll.

As Assistant Purser, you will have strong knowledge in a similar positon as such as Crew Purser, Accountant or Clearance Officer, and have familiarity of working on-board a small ship. In addition, you would have experience training and supervising a Front of House team, be familiar with coordinating crew flights and assisting with clearance.

Candidates interested in the position should meet the following requirements:

• Microsoft Office, Adonis, Fidelio, MXP and any other relevant accounting programmes
• Fluent in German language
• Experience on-board a small vessel in similar position
• Luxury Hotel/Ship experience
• Previous experience in budget control and payroll
