F&B Reliever – Luxury Mega Yacht

The F&B Reliever covers the vacation period of three essential F&B positions: In Room Dining (IRD) Host/ess, Restaurant Host/ess and F&B Administrator.

Responsibilities

• The primary responsibility of the IRD Host is to take food and beverage orders from Residents and Guests via telephone, process the orders and assist with any special dining requests. The IRD Host is also responsible for ensuring Resident and Guest satisfaction with their IRD experience and communication with the Assistant Restaurant Manager in charge. 
• The primary responsibility of the Restaurant Host is to manage restaurant reservations and control the flow of Residents and Guests into the restaurants. This position reports directly to the Assistant Restaurant Manager and works closely with the F&B Administrator. 
• The primary responsibility of the F&B Administrator is to administer and coordinate all administrative duties for the F&B, as well as assist F&B Management to develop, maintain or improve effective communication on incoming and outgoing information within the Galley, Food & Beverage and other supporting departments.

Hiring Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Host/ess or administrative experience on an ultra-luxury cruise ship, private club, boutique hotel, ultra-luxury hotel or resort 
• Knowledge of food and beverage products and terminology
• Excellent computer skills to include Word and Excel (creating and working with spreadsheets)
• Knowledge of Fidelio, restaurant reservation system, Outlook and Point of Sales System
• Experience with computerized reservation and/or table Management systems is preferred
• Must be able to create menus, invitations and flyers
