Receptionist

The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for demonstrating exemplary problem resolution skills to our guests at all times. You will be motivated, energetic, dynamic and experienced in all front of house duties.

The Receptionist will -

• Play a key role in creating the first impression for the brand and our guests
• Greet all guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Use a positive and clear speaking voice, taking the time to understand all requests in detail
• Respond to guest concerns in a considerate, professional and positive manner by showing empathy and actively listening
• Take ownership of guest concerns by following up and ensuring complaints are resolved to the guest's satisfaction
• Provide cash and guest account services such as accepting cash payments, cashing personal or traveller cheques, or exchanging foreign currencies
• Provide all services of the Guest Relations Desk including, but not limited to, lost luggage, cabin changes, lost and found services, printing and issuing guest cruise cards, and broadcasting announcements

Qualifications/Requirements -

• Minimum of one year hospitality management experience in upscale hotel, resort or cruise line (shipboard experience is preferred)
• Experience of cash handling and an understanding of exchange rates
• Proven customer service skills to interact appropriately with guests in a considerate, professional and positive manner
• Computer skills required, including Microsoft Excel
• Fluent command of English language, spoken and written
• All international applicants must have the ability to obtain any relevant visas when applicable.
• Must meet all physical requirements, including the ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training.
