As Head Waiter, you’ll be responsible for providing exemplary customer service to guests through each and every dining experience, whilst leading and supporting a team within an allocated restaurant. Working with the Restaurant Manager, through the provision of a smooth and efficient service you will be aiming for guest compliments and smiles! You will have to anticipate guests’ needs without being directly asked through observation of body language and listening.
Are you a thoughtful team leader who does what you say you will do? Are you someone who can be relied on by your colleagues? Do you use you initiative each day to ensure that you go over and above guests expectations? Are you charismatic and a strong communicator who can deal with our international guests?

P&O Cruises require the following experience:

• Previous professional waiting experience preferably gained within a 4/5* high volume hotel or restaurant
• Experience of managing/supervising large teams within a service environment
• Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering ideal
• Competent in the use of most MS Office software
• Good command of written and spoken English
