Yacht Manager

The Company

I am currently working with a growing Yacht Management Company, and have an exciting opportunity for a Yacht Manager work in the companies Head Office.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Yacht Manager / Superintendent / Marine Engineer with Yacht experience to take the next step in their career.

As Yacht Manager you will enjoy a varied role. Key responsibilities of the role include managing large projects and refits, monitoring the yachts certification, budgeting, ensuring that vessels adhere to class and flag requirements and planning Dry Dockings. It will be your responsibility to ensure that work is completed on time, within budget and kept to company standards. During Dry Dockings you will represent the company and supervise, and be responsible for all work performed under your remit.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Engineering Degree / Senior Engineering CoC
• Extensive maritime experience, including at least one year working with Super Yachts
• Strong Project Management experience (ideally including Newbuild / Refits)
• Strong seagoing experience as Chief Engineer or similar on Yachts
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Shore based experience is preferred but not essential
• Good attention to detail and strong budgeting experience
• It is essential that you have up to date maritime legislation knowledge
• Fluent English language skills and Computer Literacy
