AC Engineer

For our growing fleet, we currently look for an experienced AC Engineer. 

His responsibilities will include, but not limited to: 

Main Responsibilities:

• Compliance with safe working practices
• Safe and efficient operation of all domestic refrigeration
• Compliance with Permits to Work that are in force
• Monitoring and controlling of:
  • Refrigerated spaces
  • Cargo temperatures and conditions
• Preparation of machinery and pre-cooling of cargo spaces prior to loading
• Ensuring power connection of all reefer containers
• Maintenance of all cargo refrigeration plants in accordance with maker’s instructions
• Contribution to and promotion of environmental compliance
• Speaking up if/when unsafe practices or conditions are identified
