Director of Marketing - Cruise

The company is a leading company in the maritime sector and due to excellent growth from the company, they are now seeking a Director of Marketing.

The role you will be a pivotal part of the Marketing team who strive to help and support the Cruise function of the business. You will be responsible for the overall marketing agenda and long-term marketing vision for the company, ensuring order with the group-wide marketing vision and business objectives.

For the role you will show the following:

• To set the marketing strategy and plan for the company, to achieve revenue, margin and PBT objectives
• To actively contribute to and take a key leadership and decision-making role within companies senior management team, including overall strategy, product and proposition development, and customer experience
• Lead the development and creation of annual marketing plans and budgets contributing to commercial business plans and manage the marketing spend and efficiency
• Coach and develop the Senior Marketing Managers and the wider marketing team, providing the senior manager's space to manage the team and operations day to day
• Ensure compliance with any relevant regulatory and Company policies and commitments

• Digitally savvy with an understanding of, and desire to exploit new and emerging marketing channels and tools
• Proven track record of adding value through the delivery of marketing excellence
• Well-developed communication and leadership skills, able to operate in fast decision-making and entrepreneurial environment
• Proven change management skills, including the ability to constantly seek out and capitalise on new opportunities
• Ability to fit well within a robust and dynamic senior team through displaying a strong team orientation and assertive style
• Also to have experience with working cruise companies or to have worked across a matrix of businesses
