Hotel Operations Manager - Cruise Shorebased

The company is an expanding cruise company who are going from strength to strength who offer that unique cruise experience. Due to the growth, the company is now seeking a Hotel Operations Manager to join the team!

In the role, you will be responsible for all areas of guest services, retail, gift shop, spa, casino, photo services as well the entertainment programming. You will have the drive to lead and manage the key principles that drive onboard guest experiences.

You will be monitoring guest ratings and having meetings with Hotel Managers and leaders in the business to drive ratings higher. There is some travel with this position where you will need to visit the ships also you will need to review and update company training manuals and suggest changes to improve the hotel operations.

Develop and manage relevant and appropriate entertainment programming for the fleet. Monitor guest feedback for quality assurance and improvement. Coordinate entertainment initiatives with contracted entertainment agencies, while monitoring those relationships and adjusting as necessary.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Guest Service, Food and Beverage, and Housekeeping departments.
• Knowledge of United States Public Health (USPH) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Word are essential
• Extensive travel required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or a minimum of 5-10 years of related experience in Hotel Management, preferably on cruise ships.
