Head of Safety

Faststream are currently working in partnership with a cruise company and have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Safety- Shorebased - Hamburg.

As the head of Safety you will be overseeing all the ships within the brand, leading a team of 4 Safety officers to ensure that you are leading the department in development, implementation and

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all vessels have the latest muster lists, ship plans and updated shipboard emergency response procedures and processes
• Lead the process to identify opportunities to improve safety culture and establish the safety program as required
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to Safety topics

To be consider for this role you are required to have;

• Master or Diploma in Nautical/ Working Safety
• Senior professional experience in the area of Marine Safety or Maritime sector
• In depth knowledge of Maritime regulatory framework and Safety requirements and Shipboard experience in leading positions
• Very good English skills and senior experience in leadership
• Result and quality oriented, cooperative and team-player

The Reward
This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work with an established cruise company. Salary of between 80,000 Euros - 90,000 Euros (dependant on experience) and excellent benefits package.
