Head Chef - Expedition Vessel

Faststream are working with an expedition company who are looking for an experienced Head Chef to join their team.

As the Head Chef you will be joining a newly built passenger expedition vessel which accommodates 174 passengers on board.

The vessel will be operating in the Arctic and Antarctic regions.
As the Head Chef you will be responsible for the preparation, cooking and presentation of food items to the required standard.
You are responsible for maintaining safe and hygienic work practices.

The suitable candidate will have at least 2 years working in a similar professional position.
Experience of international cooking
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and good knowledge of the English language.
Able to work in a multicultural environment
Hands-on mentality
Experience on passenger vessels is required.

You must have a valid STCW.

Duration of the contract will be 2-3 months with the possibility of a long term position.
