Environmental Coordinator

The Company

I am currently working with an expanding Cruise company, who are looking for an Environmental Coordinator to join their team. The position is based in South East England, and will involve travel.

The Role

As Environmental Coordinator you will report directly to the Environmental Director. You will enjoy heightened responsibility for the operational activities of the fleet, focusing on ensuring Environmental compliance for the ships globally.

Key responsibilities of the role include managing the Marpol residues disposal plan, ensuring full and proper completion of all environmental audits, updating and controlling environmental legislation and ensuring that the company remains compliant with this, driving best policy on the ships by being in regular communication with the environmental team onboard.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Over 4 years experience sailing on Cruise Ships as Environmental Officer

- Fluent English language skills (additional languages would be an advantage)

- Well developed management/leadership skills

- Strong organization, delegation and interpersonal skills
