As *Revenue Manager for Marella Cruises you will be accountable for managing and supporting all revenue streams & across the fleet. You will work alongside a number of stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure the on-board teams are supported with the required tools and reporting to deliver daily revenue targets. You will become the key Account Manager for a number of third party suppliers delivering a variety of products and services across the fleet, liaising with them to deliver a consistent brand across the Marella Cruises fleet and ensuring that both commercial and operational performance is maximised. This is a opportunity to join a highly focused, results driven team, for an individual looking to gain an insight into a broad range of commercial activities across the Cruise business.

What you will be doing

As Revenue Manager you will analyse and report on all onboard revenue streams using the reporting tools for onboard revenue (RESCO & BOXI). You will produce accurate data and distribute to the on-board management teams to deliver maximum profit across the fleet. You will also liaise and negotiate with concessionaire suppliers to ensure the right products are being sold on-board at the right price points, managing any changes in the customer profile or seasonality. You will also be responsible for developing new ideas & proposals for new ancillary products to support the ongoing growth agenda for Cruise Ancillaries.

You will be responsible for managing the on-board marketing strategy (both digital and print) for all revenue streams. This includes working with the Brand Communication Manager & our internal design studio (who create the material) to ensure all marketing material adheres to the Marella Cruise Brand Strategy and to ensure a consistent tone of voice is used throughout the customer journey. You will support the marketing team through working closely with our concession partners to create and own the yearly events planner with an objective to drive new initiatives, increase footfall to key areas and deliver incremental revenue.

A key part of the Revenue Manager role is to assume responsibility as the day to day Account Manager for Marella’s range of partners, acting as the key point of contact for our partners. You will manage day to day operational requirements for concessionaire suppliers such as staff berthing, changes to hardware, changes to any operational policies or procedures. You will also update the partners with operational amendments, such as itinerary changes or legal requirements. The role requires you to work closely with each concessionaire and participate in regular business reviews to ensure performance is consistent and managing any under-performance against our set objectives through action plans and contractual consequences. You will chair weekly performance reviews and input into monthly and quarterly business reviews with all concession partners. You will also manage the Purchase Order and payment process used to pay our third party concessionaire partners.

As Revenue Manager you are also the main contact for revenue matters with the on-board teams. This includes holding regular calls to review performance and initiate/sign off on new initiatives. The Revenue Manager also feeds into our modernisation strategy, inputting into the implementation of new partners and ships. You will also have a key role in communicating our modernisation strategy and company goals to our concession partners.
Finally, this role will also support the Cruise Ancillaries Manager with the forecasting process for all revenue streams; this includes both in-house ancillaries and third party concessionaires.

There will be an expectation of frequent travel (up to once a month) in order to conduct regular ships visits to put action plans in place and build on-board relationships. The job also involves frequent UK based travel to visit key suppliers.
