Sommelier - 5* Ocean Cruise

I am currently working with a 5* Cruise Company, and have an excellent opportunity for a Sommelier to join their Fleet.

The ideal candidate for this role should have experience working on board passenger vessels as a Sommelier. This opportunity offers the chance to learn and develop new skills within a luxury cruise environment, be involved in international voyages and exciting future projects.

As the Sommelier on board you will be supporting the Beverage Manager in daily operations and ensuring a friendly and professional service in all Bar and F&B areas. You will also be able to prepare and conduct Wine training to all F&B Departments as well as conduct lectures and Wine Tasting sessions for guests. You will report directly to the Beverage Manager and be responsible for team performance.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Internationally recognised Certified Sommelier Level I preferably Level II or Master Sommelier.
* Excellent English skills, written and spoken.
* At least 2 years in similar position in 4* or 5* operation and shipboard experience is essential.
* Ability to work independently. Be service and sales oriented and guest focused, be ambitious and with professional appearance.
