Fleet Safety Trainer

The Company

I am currently working with a leading global Cruise company, and have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Safety Trainer to work in the companies Head Office.

The Role

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Cruise Safety Officer to take the next step in their career.

As Fleet Safety Trainer you will be responsible for ensuring that all crew in the fleet are trained in Safety to a very high standard - and that all relevant literature, training tools and equipment are kept up to date, and in good order.

Based in the companies UK Head Office, you will prepare new training tools for use on board, and ensure that the Fleet Safety Training Manager is kept up to date with any potential issues.

You will also enjoy frequent travel to the ships - performing drills, delivering crew training, and training the Safety Officers onboard. You will ensure that vessels are managed in line with company procedures, as well as in line with external regulations.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience sailing as Safety Officer on Cruise Ships
- Chief Mates Unlimited / Master Unlimited CoC
- 5 years, or more, Cruise seagoing experience
- Experience providing training
- Well developed interpersonal skills and leadership skills
- Fluent English language skills and Computer Literacy
