Technical Manager

The Company

I am currently working with an expanding Yacht Company who are looking for a Technical Manager to join their team. The position is based in Monaco, and will involve travel.

The Role

As Technical Manager you will report directly to the Operations Director. You will be responsible for the technical and safety management of between 4 / 5 super yachts.

Key responsibilities of the role include budget management, ensuring that vessels adhere to class and flag requirements, planning and monitoring Dry Dockings and other projects.

It will be your responsibility to ensure that work is completed on time, within budget and kept to company standards. During Dry Dockings you will represent the company and supervise, and be responsible for, all work performed under your remit.

The ideal candidate will have / be:

- An experienced super yacht engineer ( Chief or 1st Engineer would be considered).

- Super Yacht experience between 30m - 100m+.

- Project Management experience

- Ship Yard experience (New builds and Refits)

- Professional and presentable.

- Fluent English language skills

- Significant management/leadership skills

- Diplomatic

- Strong organisation, delegation and interpersonal skills

- Strong budgeting experience
