Senior Manager Marine Operations - Ports

I am currently supporting one of the UKs largest port operators to bring on a Senior Manager Marine Operations. This role will report directly into the Port Director and focus on providing and managing specialist marine operations for 3 Ports.

As Senior Manager Marine Operations, you will ensure statutory harbour compliance and delivery the day to day harbour master function throughout the ports as directed by the Group Harbour Master.

The ideal candidate will have: -

• Knowledge of Marine, Ports or Harbour operations, e.g. have been a Harbour Master (in a medium-large commercial port), Pilot, VTS or Deck Officer ETC
• Experience of working in shipping or ship management would be desirable
• Experience running an operational team within a technical, operational environment, and working under strict statutory / compliance frameworks
• High level OPEX budget management / managing high value operations budgets covering staff, plant, systems and contractors
• Proven leadership skills

In order to be considered, you will need to be based in Liverpool permanently and have the existing right to live and work in the UK.
