This team is responsible for providing consistent personalized service to our guests with the ultimate goal of achieving total guest satisfaction. To be a successful member of this team, a candidate should have a passion for service, a pleasant and energetic demeanor, and previous experience in a customer contact position. Great written and oral communication skills in English are required. Proficiency in additional languages (such as Italian, German, French, Portuguese, Spanish, and/ or Mandarin/Cantonese) is highly preferred.

Group Coordinators are at the heart of our group operation and have a direct impact on the overall experience of our group travelers. As a Royal Caribbean expert, you'll help our group guests make the most of their cruise vacation by coordinating activities and arrangements for group meetings, conferences, and functions. In this highly visible role, you'll work with our department heads to plan function details such as space requirements, time schedule, food and beverage service, stage usage, sound, lighting, and video.

Maintains desk hours throughout the cruise to meet with group representatives. Responsible for the scheduling of the Conference Center, Executive Boardroom, Multi-media room and the Business Services areas

Consults with representatives of client group or organization to plan details such as number of persons expected, display space desired, food service schedule, etc

Resolves conflicts quickly and efficiently and provides alternative arrangements as needed; calculates additional costs as needed

Directs workers in preparing banquet and convention rooms, and erecting displays, exhibits, equipment, etc.

Minimum requirements

  • Age : at least 21 years old
  • Three ( 3 ) or more years’ experience with event planning and execution experience in a luxury hotel, convention center, sales, public relations or in a related hospitality function, / or cruise ship experience , similar position .
  • Language skills: English – advanced level – MANDATORY
  • Additional language skills: German, Italian, French, Spanish etc

Contract details
Contract : 6 months
Vacation : 2 months between contracts

Salary: fix monthly salary
Facilities on board : free of charge offered by the Company ( accommodation, meals, medical services )
Accommodation : shared cabin of two
Work schedule : 8 - 10 hours daily, free days by rotation in department

Embarkation costs : depending on ship/ itinerary ( medical files, required visas, flight ticket )
