DJ/Entertainment Staff

Job Description:

Main Duties will be to Play Music in the Nightclub, the lounges and on the Pool deck for Sailaway Parties.
Must have 2+ years as a DJ and be confident on the Microphone, taking requests and keeping the dancefloor busy.
Additional Duties Include hosting and participating in adult and family recreational programs and activities.
Intracting with guests in public areas and visits guest lounges at specified times to converse with as many guests at a safe and socially distanced way possible in the time allotted.
Participates in shows and events presented by the Cruise Director's Division by taking part in skits and/or simple dance routines. Instructs, organizes or facilitates various activities and/or tournaments.
Lead and teach dance classes and dance at theme nights wearing costumes.
Gangway duties greeting and assisting guests on embrakation days and in ports of call.
Additional duties such as sanitising public and work spaces and assisting with screeing of guests when boarding the ship.
The position is 7 days a week for a period of 6 months working up to 10 hours a day.

Qualifications:

Two years as DJ in Lounge/Nightclub pre lockdown.                                                         
Ability to capture and manage the attention of a large group of people with microphone effective and courteous microphone techniques. Experience on a microphone required.
Ability to provide basic instructions to a large group of people.
Physically fit and able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Team player with a positive attitude.
The ability to adapt to high pressure situations and adhere to a flexible working schedule.
Excellent time management skills and able to follow a work schedule and be organised and have self discipline.
