Harding is a shipboard luxury retailer working with cruise line partners to create the ultimate retail experience for guests on board. With the imminent launch of IONA, the largest ship we work on board with… we are looking to recruit a Stock Controller to manage the stock and support a retail team of up to 45 people, servicing the needs of over 5000 passengers on board.
Duties on board:
- Ensure receipt, quantities, tagging, deliveries of products, articles, and supplies in a timely manner
- Prepare new items to be displayed in collaboration with the sales team
- Ensure replenishment is done hourly and accurately
- Control and supervise transfers and all other operations in a timely manner
- Manage and own the stock organisation in accordance with Harding directives and procedures (style, size and colour, etc)
- Check Best Before Dates, batch numbers and barcodes
- Produce Daily/monthly & random inventory stock counting
Scope:
- You’ll always work in the stockroom and will only be in the shop floor delivering the replen stock
- You’ll have a laptop with access to the stock on board
- Reports to Ops but works closely with Stock Inventory department
About you:
Are you a strong and proactive person with over 2 years of experience managing the stock in a department store? Do you work professionally and effectively in high pressure environment and are happy to be locked up all day making sure the job is done by the end of the shift?
Skills:
- You have a razor-blade attention to detail
- You are extremely well organised
- You’ve got good knowledge of MS Office, that allows me to multitask and deliver good standards in-store and also in the stockroom
