About the role:
This is a standalone Retail Manager role, responsible for all aspects of retail on board. There is no team to manage directly, but you will be responsible for the guest experience as well as paperwork back to your Account Director based in Avonmouth.
As part of the broader team on board, you will play a key part in creating memorable guest experiences. So much so, you’ll be expected to join in and go on guest excursions, expeditions, treks or landings!
What you will be doing:
- Creating an exceptional and memorable retail experience for the guests on board
- Providing exceptional customer service, comprehensive product knowledge, whilst delivering sales and profit targets
- Consistently deliver the highest possible standards both on the shop floor and in back office operations
Who you are:
- German and English speaking
- Passionate about adventure, expedition and active lifestyle
- Proven retail experience either on land or at sea
- Motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Excellent face to face customer service and sales ability, utilising strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
