IT Manager for Ambassador Cruise Line

Your responsibility will include, but will not be limited to:

Be able to provide a strong technical support for the IT infrastructure and Users
Have strong working experience with Microsoft technologies Active and Passive network equipment and technologies, Storage Systems, Server Hardware, Virtual Environments, Backup Solutions.
Configure and maintain POS workstations, access cards, onboard billing system from the billing terminals (POS) to the main billing server.
Install, Maintain, repair PC workstations, ensure correct operation, install service packs, and update software. Make sure installed programs follow type of user specification. Report users with installed software outside specification.
Monitor network activity through firewall. Ensure correct ports are open for specified services.
Monitor UPS operation and battery expiry dates.
Assist staff in using onboard software including email system, respective cruise management software, AMOS, etc.
Ensure Antivirus system is up to date and functional on user workstations. Report virus outbreaks.
Supervise installation carried out by third parties technicians.
Monitor software licenses status and keep ensure compliance with license agreements.
Ensure software replication to the Head Office and vice versa is up to date.
