Travelling Fleet Supervisor - Cyber Security

JOB PURPOSE

The Travelling Fleet Supervisor will support the enhancement of Cyber Security the requirements across the organisation. He/She will be managing onboard cybersecurity tasks and contributing to the onboard security controls implementation. The successful candidate will also support the day-to-day IT and Cyber Security operations of the vessels deployed in his/her assigned canvas as needed. He/She will be working onboard ships in his/her assigned canvas for 75% of the time and from an MSC Office in the assigned canvas when ashore.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Assists the IT Manager on board with Cyber Security tasks;
• Supports the implementation of security controls onboard;
• Operates and optimises network security tooling/products in coordination with the shoreside Cyber Security team and the IT Manager;
• Promote training and raise awareness in cyber security matters.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Fluent English, knowledge of Italian is an advantage;
• 3-5 years of cyber experience in an information security role;
• Certifications in the field of information security or OT will be an advantage;
• Experience in marine operations onboard is an advantage;
• Experience with network security tools, developing and documenting security architecture and plans, including strategic, tactical, and project plans;
• Knowledge of IT and OT (eg. automation systems, SCADA, etc);
• Availability to travel up to 75% of the time;
• Knowledge of the IMO Cyber Risk Management guidelines;
• Ability to report effectively and present impactfully to management;
• Adaptable individual and Team player.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

• Right to work in the UK / the assigned canvas;

•Visa as required to travel to and with the assigned vessels as a supernumerary/crew member
