Your responsibility will include, but will not be limited to:

• Provide an efficient and effective hotel operation to guests, creating ‘Ambassador Moments’and leading to total guest and company satisfaction
• Provide coaching and guidance toall department heads, ensuring departments operate effectively and efficiently as per Company procedures
• Conduct daily inspections of all areas to ensure hygiene and safety standards comply with Company and Public Health requirements
• Ensure all hotel departments adhere to MLC work and rest hour requirements
• Maintainclose liaison with department heads to ensure guest feedback and complaints are responded to and resolved effectively to ensure total guest satisfaction and personally follow up with guest where necessary
• Create a ‘one-team’culture by daily interaction with Captain and all department heads
• Raise any safety concerns immediately with Captain and work together for resolution
• Overall responsibility for all hygiene standards within hotel meeting both Company and Public Health standards
• Review guest ratings and comment cards and createa plan of action, where necessary
• Appraise Manager Hotel Operations & Procurement of any onboard situations and concerns
• Have an open door policy for all onboard colleagues to ensure effective communication that allows colleagues to raise any concerns or issues they face
• Ensure all hotel colleagues working schedules are issued fairly and in line with MLC work and rest hour requirements
• Lead by example by ensuring all company polices and procedures are always adhered to
• Lead and support an multi-cultural team, ensuring colleague satisfaction, productivity and retention
• Provide a positive working environment by ensuring all colleagues are treated fairly and equally
• Conduct end of contract appraisals for all department heads
• Anyother duties as reasonably requested by Manager Hotel Operations and Procurement.
