As Crew Welfare Coordinator you will be responsible for creating lasting memories by coordinating the shipboard teammate activities program, supporting the Human Resources team, and enhancing the onboard experience for teammates in line with the Company’s Core Values. 

Key Responsibilities

• Coordination of a diverse calendar of activities that enhance the crew experience, including sports, tours, education programs, religious programs, crew recognition, and incentive programs, new joiners mixers, parties and celebrations, and special events.
• Attendance at crew events to ensure an efficient setup, presentation, break down, and overall operation of crew programs
• Research and recommend new programs/activities to enhance the onboard experience for all crew further.
• Development and maintenance of crew communication forums, including the crew activity newsletter, notice boards, posting world news, crew awareness campaigns for the Crew Channel, and articles.
• Coordination of service loyalty programs, birthday and get well card distribution, and the Bed Ready Program.
• Assisting the Crew Office with embarkation/disembarkation duties, 90-day immigration inspection, and passport distribution/collection (for foreign ports).
• Hosts crew activities in a personable and outgoing manner 
• All duties must be completed following the company Core Values and all aspects of the Service Essentials program.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Public speaking or event host experience required 
• A minimum 2-5 years of experience in the cruise line, resort, family camp, or entertainment business/industry required 
• Previous experience performing administrative duties such as data input, organizing paper, and computer files, multi-tasking, etc.
• Understanding the foundation of customer service and ability and willingness to excel in delivering outstanding service to our crew.
• Secure communicator with outstanding social skills and a warm, friendly, and caring personality.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages such as Excel, Word, or related programs
• Command of the English language, both verbal and written.
