IT Fleet Deployment Engineer

The role is IT Fleet Deployment Engineer for Royal Caribbean/ Celebrity Cruise line  This position is project-based - see below the contract details :

• NB 1 – March 2023 – October 2023.
o 12 Resources ( 2 for 7 months, 10 for 5 months)
o Location: Finland

• NB 2 – June 2023 – Dec 2023
o 8 Resources (2 for 6.5 Months, 6 for 5.5 months)
o Location: France

• NB 3 – November 2023 – Jun 2024
o 12 Resources ( 2 for 7 months, 10 for 5 months)
o Location: France

IT Fleet Deployment Engineer would be responsible for:

• Setup, configuration and certification of various assigned shipboard systems
• Remote hands support for assigned product owners
• Reporting of system installation progress and escalation of any issues to Project Manager during daily meeting(s)
• Create and keep inventory of system related equipment and spares, to be turned over to the ship once ship delivered
• Assist with setup, deployment of other systems as needed
• Validate/correct installation documents, or create if not available
• At times role may be asked to help Project Team with generic tasks when a team approach is warranted.

This role is a technical role, that requires a critical thinking mindset, analytical troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to work alone with minimal direction
Pay scale based on experience.
