Chief Electrician for a Polar Expedition vessel

We have an opening for Chief Electrician (ETO III/6) position to embark onn a Polar Expedition Vessel on next 26th of July.

The Chief Electrician functions and responsibility shall include, but not be limited to: Responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of the electrical plant and associated electrical systems throughout the ship in compliance with regulations and approved work procedures.

• Ensures that all electrical equipment and machinery on board the ship, such as elevators, fire alarm systems, electric motors and alternators, control systems and all associated systems are properly operated and maintained according to the applicable regulations and international standards.
• Must be present in the Engine Control Room during manoeuvers, drills and emergencies.
