Faststream is exclusively recruiting for a Site Specialist for MSC Cruises

Faststream Recruitment has entered into an exclusive partnership with MSC Cruises to recruit and hire the new build site teams across Europe who will be critical in MSC's extensive cruise ship new build programme. MSC Cruises are now seeking a Site Specialist - Local Entertainment Systems (LES) in France.

JOB PURPOSE  
Responsible for quality assurance of the Local Entertainment Systems installed during new build construction. Individual will review and inspect every aspect of the build that is involved with Show and Multimedia Technologies and report progress to all organization levels.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES  
•Inspects installation: follows plans from the shipyard and ensures accurate delivery of works and produces reports to shoreside management, as well as tracking changes from original drawings and informing project management;
•Confirms installation quality/standards by leading on the commissioning process for MSC in alignment with Shoreside Project Management;
•Manages commissioning resources to ensure delivery of LES products;
•Provides weekly reports on status of new build for LES projects;
•Ensures all legal requirements are being met with the installation projects and support the lead project manager with a detailed list of ongoing issues;
•Serves as point of contact for shoreside management within the shipyard by attending shipyard meetings and issuing reports;
•Responsible for asset management of equipment delivered to shipyard for owner supply;
•Tracks delivery dates, stock and location as well as managing delivery of equipment to the ship for installation;
 
QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)  
•Fluency in English, knowledge of Italian or French is a plus;
•3 years installation technician for LES cruise ship new builds;
•Experience as an electrician with low voltage systems;
•Experience with HV systems beneficial;
•Experience with LES systems;
•Detail oriented, knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
•Excellent communication skills;
•Travel required;
