Key Responsibilities

• Maintains the Onsen areas at all times, both inside and outside, following the Company standards for housekeeping, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Promptly sets up location for activities, official inspections, and other special events as directed.
• Promptly performs all embarkation duties as required by the Company.
• Always assists with the service of the Onsen area as directed, including assistance with lockers, the distribution and collection of towels, linens, supplies and refreshments.
• Always follows appropriate procedures for the correct handling and sorting of garbage.
• Promptly collects, stows, loads, and distributes Onsen products.
• Always assists with the service of Onsen areas as directed, including the distribution and collection of towels, linens, and supplies.
• Always provides a positive first impression to every passenger through a warm, welcoming individual greeting.
• Always provides passenger assistance in an unassuming and appropriate manner.
• Always remains engaged through completion of service.
• Always responds promptly to resolve passenger concerns, escalating to supervisor as appropriate.
• Always provides a positive first impression to every passenger through a warm, welcoming individual greeting and professional appearance.
• Interacts with every passenger during the passenger time in the Onsen, observing and identifying passengers' preferences and adjusting service accordingly, anticipating passengers’ needs, and providing assistance at all times.
• Always responds immediately to any service issues, escalating to Manager as appropriate.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• At least one year of related experience as Spa/Onsen Attendant or equivalent position.
• Command of English and Japanese languages.
• Strong understanding of the foundation of customer service; ability and willingness to deliver outstanding service to our passengers.
• Personable communicator with good social skills and a warm, friendly, and caring personality.
• Commitment to continuously display and deliver genuine care to our passengers and staff and surprise and delight passengers throughout their cruise experience.
