Your Purpose

The Sr. Analyst, Outbound Sales is responsible for driving analysis, insights and reporting on performance effectiveness across Outbound. This role will track KPIs and deliver reporting on the effectiveness of the strategies and campaigns that Outbound runs. Outbound is the fastest growing channel at MSC and heavily reliant on data-driven decision-making to further accelerate growth. This role collaborates very closely with Outbound management team to make effective decisions informed by data. 

 

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in the office, in Fort Lauderdale and/or Miami.

Your Impact

  • Data and Analytics: Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources to create daily/weekly/monthly dashboards and reports.  Share insights and recommendations on bookings/cancellation trends, gaps, and revenue opportunities.
  • Monitor Performance: On channel economics to optimize lead allocation and campaign investment. Conduct root-cause analysis to diagnose underperforming sales, campaigns, areas, or segments; recommend corrective action plans. Evaluate lead management workflows and outbound processes to improve sales efficiency and productivity.
  • Partner with business leaders: Collaborate on reporting and insights with the Outbound Director, management and marketing with multiple touchpoints per day on different topics including promotion performance. Work closely to assess staffing needs and performance drivers.
  • Data-driven Insights: Share perspective on new insights while also organizing the reports in such a way that the business team can understand broader context and share their perspective. Design segmentation analysis of lead sources to enhance outbound campaign targeting and improve marketing ROI.  Build forecasting models to track sales pacing and revenue contribution by outbound channel.
  • Automation: Where practical, automate reporting and queries so that time can be spent on new growth areas.
  • Highly organized in project managing recurring reporting and special analyses or projects. Data should be structured in such a way that approach and assumptions are laid out and organized 
  • Communication: Whether verbal or written, sharing approach and insights in a way that is easy for management to understand.
  • Management: dotted line from junior analyst reporting into this role. Direct report will provide leverage to the manager, in particular focused on the recurring reporting.

Your Journey so far

  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial analysis role, preferably within the travel, hospitality, casino or consumer brands sector, or experience working for a top-tier management consulting firm on commercial strategy engagements within these industries.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, including PowerBI or Tableau, Dataiku or Databricks
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, competent at analyzing marketing ROI per channel, measuring channel effectiveness, monitoring and creating reporting around lead / call volumes, financial performance, booking performance.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present recommendations to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred
  • Able to work in Miami, FL with a hybrid 2-3 days / week in-office schedule.
