Security Staff – 5* Cruise Liner

You, as part of the Security Team, will ensure the safety and security of all guests, crew, and shipboard assets, maintaining a visible presence throughout the vessel and effectively responding to all security situations in line with international maritime standards.

Salary:                                    $1350 – $1841 USD per month tax-free – paid on board only
Rotation:                                6 months on and 2 months off
Berthing:                               Shared Cabin
Documents Required:          To be acquired by you: C1/D Visa (Reimbursed once onboard), STCW Certificates, Cruise Medical and Police Clearance

Responsibilities:

• Conducts regular shipboard patrols to ensure safety and security standards are maintained
• Manages access control for guests, crew, and visitors at all embarkation points
• Investigates and reports incidents in accordance with company policy and maritime regulations
• Assists with crowd control and emergency response including fire drills and evacuation procedures
• Operates surveillance and detection equipment and maintains daily security logs
• Collaborates with other departments to support smooth and secure onboard operations
• Enforces shipboard regulations and responds to situations involving disorderly conduct
• Ensures safety of high-value assets and restricted areas

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in military, law enforcement, private security, aviation security, or similar
• Maritime Security experience preferred but not essential
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to manage conflict and diffuse difficult situations tactfully
• Computer literacy and report writing skills
• Must be physically fit and able to work long hours including night shifts
• Ability to provide 2 written professional references.
