• Role: Learning and Development Manager
• Company: A BRILLIANT cruise liner
• Salary: $5000++ USD tax free
• Berthing: Single cabin
• Rotation: 3 months on and 1 month off…or 4 months onboard and 2 months off (not paid in vacation time) let’s chat!
• Start date: Soon!
• Leading: You will manage the onboard learning and development function
• Reporting to: The onboard HR Manager.
• Required: References, visa, medical, background checks.
• Flights: Provided free back and forth by the host company
• Uniforms: Provided free by the host company
• JD: Full JD on application

The Superb Learning and Development Manager Role Overview In partnership with onboard leaders, the L&D manager will add value to crew members and thebusiness through talent identification, crew and leader development, trainers training, and other services. The L&D Manager will facilitate development conversations and accelerated learning experiences. You will be involved in:

• Company induction
• Career coaching
• Supervisory readiness
• Succession planning
• Executive Coaching
• Team Coaching
• Train the Trainer
• Training needs analysis…and much more

You the Perfect Learning and Development Manager

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an HR professional specializing in Learning and Organizational Development in an upscale hotel, cruise line or corporate organization.
• Experience in applying adult learning principles and consulting, coaching, mentoring, and training techniques.
• Exhibits passion for constant learning and demonstrates an eagerness to share that passion with others along with the ability to understand and convey business priorities and use compelling arguments to gain support and commitment.
• Highly proficient in MS Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and comfortable learning other required systems.
• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited university or college in Learning & Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or related field is preferred.
