• Salary:             USD$2,100 per month while onboard (plus commission or bonus) tax free

Required:

• You to source and pay for:
• A police background check (not reimbursed)

• US C1/D visa (reimbursed if you successfully board the ship)
• You to preferably have full 7 x valid STCW certificates

The BRILLIANT role
Working on your own, in a one-person department (with help during the first 1-2 days of a cruise), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all communication revenue products on the ship, including guest and crew internet, cellular land & sea services, the ships’ app, and stateroom phones. With a dedicated focus on driving sales, marketing, achieving revenue targets, and providing Level 1 guest-facing technical support, the primary role is to ensure a seamless and efficient communication experience for guests and crew. The CSM will manage the ship’s Internet Café and other communication services, work closely with the IT support team, Guest Services, and other onboard departments, while playing a vital role in maximizing revenue through communication package sales.

• Upselling internet packages (commission on sales)
• Meet or exceed sales goals
• Answering questions about charges to guest account for WIFI usage
• Answering questions about why internet minutes have run out, adding minutes back to their account if needed
• Report any technical issues to the ship’s IT support team promptly.

You the PERFECT Candidate

• You will have shipboard experience in a similar role
• You will have extensive guest services experience
• You will be extremely PC, cellphone, and tablet savvy
• You will be creative when problem solving and troubleshooting
• You will be able to assist guests/crew members to connect to WIFI (very busy especially the first 2 days of a cruise)
• You will be assist with phone issues
• You will be fixing issues with the tablets and/or PCs in the Internet Café
• You will be a great problem solver with issues with the Wi-Fi of the whole ship as they arise – If you can’t solve internet issue, report any technical issues to the ship’s IT support team promptly.
• You will be confident enough to speak in front of crowds to explain the internet onboard.
