Your Purpose

As a Guest Experience – Shipboard Liaison & Special Services, you will serve as the primary point of contact and bridge between shoreside teams, guests, travel partners, and onboard departments, ensuring all special requests - including accessibility needs, dietary requirements, medical accommodations, and group arrangements - are accurately captured, communicated, and flawlessly executed. This role is essential to delivering the brand’s luxury promise of personalized, seamless service across the entire guest journey.

Your Impact

Pre-Cruise Coordination:

    • Review and process all special needs and group requests received through booking systems, guest communications, and travel partners.
    • Collaborate with sales and reservations teams to ensure accurate documentation and expectations setting.
    • Prepare detailed guest profiles and request manifests for shipboard teams with proactive briefings and follow-through.

 

Onboard Execution Support:

    • Liaise with hotel, culinary, medical, housekeeping, and entertainment teams to ensure smooth execution of all guest-specific requests.
    • Ensure proactive follow-through and resolution on the fulfillment of special requests during the voyage.
    • Serve as the dedicated liaison for any onboard adjustments or clarifications related to special services.

 

Group Services:

    • Coordinate with event planning or group services to ensure group amenities, private functions, or special arrangements are in place as promised.
    • Track group-specific logistics and manage communications between onboard and shoreside teams.

 

Service Excellence & Compliance:

    • Ensure all services provided meet accessibility, health, and safety standards.
    • Maintain the confidentiality and sensitivity of guest information, particularly medical or personal needs.
    • Log and analyse guest feedback related to special services to improve future processes and share insights with both shipboard and shoreside leadership.

Your Journey so far

  • 3+ years shipboard experience in front facing role
  • Familiarity with cruise line CRM and reservation systems (e.g., Fidelio, MXP, SeaWare).

Your Essentials

 

  • Fluent ENG, any additional language is a plus
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
