Your Purpose

An exciting opportunity exists for a world class Assistant Refrigeration Technician to join our newly created luxury travel brand “Explora Journeys”.Willingly and in a dedicated spirit, learn the fundamentals of the job’s profession in order to become a Refrigeration Technician.

Your Impact

• Follow the instructions of the Chief Refrigeration Technician concerning methods and procedures for the maintenance of the refrigeration equipment. 

• When necessary, help the Refrigeration Technician with the maintenance of hotel machinery.

 • Work always in accordance with acceptable standards, avoiding wastage of materials and always respecting all injury prevention rules.

 • Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of A.C. workshop, A.C. rooms and tools.

Your Journey So Far

• Intermediate oral and written English (working and Safety language of the Company).

• Previous work experience in a similar position with luxury/premium Cruise company or in a related field and willingness to train. 

• High School Graduate with appropriate licenses as required by company.

• Experience in International sanitation requirements and protocols. 

• He must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 Kg.

 • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. 

• He must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills.

• Full use and range of arms and legs as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities are required to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency including the lowering of lifeboats.

Full compliance with the requirement of the Law Flag State of the ship regarding Safety and health and physical requirements.Documentation according with STCW
