• Rotation:                     There isn’t a rotation per se. This is an annualised role where there are 240 days working, with at least 186 on board, the remainder can be remote.
• In between ships:        You can work remotely from home / wherever.
• Bonus:                         YES…up to 20% depending on KPI achievement and success
• KPI’s:                           Including feedback from crew, feedback on curriculum delivered, and overall engagement
• Benefits:                      Annual health care, flights (economy class), onboard privileges,
• Travel:                         Travel expenses covered as per policy, flights are booked economy by travel service
• Accommodation:         Single berth – could be a guest or crew cabin, depending on availability
• Uniform:                      This is a non-uniformed role

• Reporting to:               Shoreside Senior Manager L&D
• Tool kit:                       90% toolkit, 10% your creativity!

The Brilliant Role Overview
The Travelling Learning and Development Manager is a key contributor to the shipboard talent development strategy. This role delivers, high-impact learning experiences that reinforce brand standards and cultural values, while supporting leadership development and crew engagement across the fleet. The L&D Manager acts as a consultant coach, facilitator, and ambassador of the firm, ensuring that learning is continuous, adaptive, and aligned with operational excellence.

You the Perfect Candidate

• You will currently be shoreside, or very close to your vacation time (if you do apply, please let me know your current location of being ship or shoreside)
• You will be an experienced L&D consultant practitioner from cruise ships with at least 4 years onboard experience.
• You will show in your CV that you have worked at exec level and facilitate leadership development programs plus work as a consultant partner too.
• You will have worked shoreside as an L&D practitioner within a large corporation for at least 2 years, where you’ve worked at senior level.
• You will already have a Seaman’s book.
• You will be able to pass a ship medical exam and provide the required information according to the onboarding requirements. 

The successful candidate will be able to land and acclimate with speed. You will have limited time to make an impact, so you really need to be prepared, ready and keen to make a difference with energy and rigour. This opportunity is looking for an entrepreneurial, driver type spirit.
