Join our Entertainment Technical Team at Sea

We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Deputy Production Technician (Sound) to support the delivery of exceptional audio experiences across our onboard entertainment programme. Working closely with the Assistant Manager Production (AMP), you will help operate and maintain the ship’s sound systems and support events that captivate our guests.

About the Role
As a Deputy Production Technician specialising in sound, you’ll play a vital part in the smooth running of shows, talks, deck activities, and a variety of entertainment events. You will assist with operating audio equipment, supporting rehearsals, and contributing to high‑quality sound delivery across the vessel.

This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic about live sound, eager to build technical skills, and excited to be part of a professional production environment at sea.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the AMP in the day‑to‑day operation of the ship’s sound systems and audio equipment.
• Provide technical sound support for shows, talks, deck activities, and other entertainment events.
• Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of audio and general production equipment as directed.
• Follow all work schedules, safety procedures, and company regulations while completing tasks efficiently and safely.
• Maintain accurate equipment logs, cleaning records, and maintenance documentation.
• Assist with the loading and off‑loading of entertainment equipment during turnaround operations.
• Carry out additional duties requested by the Assistant Manager Production and Production Manager.
• Develop specialist skills in sound while maintaining awareness of stage and lighting operations to ensure smooth collaboration across the team.
• Work as part of a production sub‑department to ensure consistent shipwide audio coverage and support for all entertainment elements.
• Support AMP colleagues and wider team members to deliver a seamless entertainment operation.
