DOCTOR
As the onboard Doctor, you will deliver high‑quality medical care to both crew members and guests. In this role, you will support the Staff Captain and Senior Doctor in all health‑related matters at sea, including illness reporting, outbreak prevention, and overall public‑health compliance.
You will also oversee the medical center’s medication and supply budget; participate in crew safety and personal‑hygiene training; and assist with food‑handling and galley inspections to ensure a safe and healthy shipboard environment.
We invite you to sail with us if you hold an active medical license, a medical degree from an accredited institution, and have at least three years of clinical experience in general and emergency medicine. You must also maintain valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience in an acute‑care setting.
- At least one year of practical experience performing Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- At least one year of experience diagnosing and treating a broad range of medical conditions, including minor surgical procedures such as suturing, removal of benign skin lesions and foreign bodies, treatment of ingrown toenails, and identification and immobilization of simple fractures.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.
Duties and responsibilities are not limited to those listed above. Additional tasks and requirements may be assigned as needed to support shipboard operations and overall safety.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
