Position Summary: The Assistant Digital Manager is responsible for supporting the daily management, maintenance, and optimization of all onboard digital systems, with a primary focus on digital signage and the guest mobile application. This role ensures that all digital content and functionalities are up to date, aligned with brand standards, and meet operational needs.
Reporting to the Onboard Digital Manager, the Assistant Digital Manager provides hands-on support for both guest‑facing and crew‑facing digital technologies. This position is ideal for individuals with practical experience in digital content management who are looking to grow within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations of digital signage and the guest mobile app.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate unresolved ones to the Digital Manager or IT.
- Monitor and publish daily content, ensuring brand and operational alignment.
- Assist guests with app-related inquiries at the App Help Desk and throughout the voyage.
- Serve as the first point of contact for onboard teams regarding routine app and signage issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in digital communications, media, IT, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in digital content management, signage systems, or similar technology platforms.
- Strong technical aptitude with basic networking and troubleshooting knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to train and support non-technical users.
- Detail-oriented with a strong eye for content quality, accuracy, and design.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Hospitality, travel, or cruise industry experience strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working onboard a cruise ship for extended contracts (6–7 months).
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
