Your life on board

As a Shop Specialist, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales in a luxury retail setting. You’ll be specialized in a specific functional area, using your knowledge to assure high visual standards and optimal stock levels, by replenishing merchandise as needed.

  • You love creating an exceptional and memorable retail experience for guests, inspiring enthusiasm and excitement around brands and products.

Get things right

  • You will oversee your shop section and assist in other categories when needed. You will maintain excellent marketing and visual merchandising standards, delivering brand service strategies and supporting product initiatives.
  • You will promptly provide an informed response about products and services offered, address guest inquiries and feedback, fostering strong relationships throughout their experience. You will portrait a positive image of the onboard retail shops in order to build trust and credibility.
  • You will ensure accurate inventory levels through daily stock and inventory management. You’ll develop expertise in all areas of the store through cross training.

Safety First

  • You’ll be proactive in promoting and keeping our safety guidelines and code of conduct.
  • You’ll help create a welcoming and secure environment where everyone feels comfortable and respected.

What makes you unique

  • You have at least a secondary school diploma or higher. A degree in hospitality is a plus.
  • You have a B2  spoken level of English, the knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • You have good communication  skills, and you are a curious, organized person with at least 1 – year experience in retail; luxury guest experience is of interest.
  • Previous shipboard experience is preferred.
