Job Summary:

\n

Reporting to our Senior Director, National Accounts, you will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Yield, Finance, IT, and Reservations leadership. The position is responsible for leading the development and execution of reporting frameworks that deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across the trade/B2B channel. It serves as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements into scalable solutions and ensuring the delivery of dashboards and reports. The role also supports trade/B2B technology initiatives, including Dynamics 365 CRM, and manages vendor relationships such as Viking Rewards. Strong SQL skills, data mining expertise, and the ability to analyze and communicate complex findings clearly are essential. The position requires independent management of workload, meetings, and deadlines, and a proactive, collaborative approach to cross-functional goals.

This is a hybrid position based in our Woodland Hills, CA office. You will be required to adhere to our hybrid work policy, working from our office Monday and Thursday plus one additional weekday on a weekly basis.

Job Responsibilities:

    \n
  • Analyze trade sales, inside sales and other important B2B and client data to inform decision making, improve operational efficiency, travel advisor experience—allowing existing data to be turned into actionable reporting and insights
  • \n
  • Provide regular trade and co-op budget updates to Accounting, Finance, and Marketing Planning for forecasting and governance.
  • \n
  • Support trade/B2B technology initiatives (e.g., Dynamics 365 CRM, Databricks, etc.) in collaboration with IT, Yield Management, Sales, and Reservations leadership.
  • \n
  • Oversee trade/B2B data for marketing purposes and ensures data is accurate and correct
  • \n
  • Standardize reporting requests from Sales Leadership for broader team usage.
  • \n
  • Develop and maintain SQL and Databricks-based reporting solutions and dashboards.
  • \n
  • Support sales and marketing campaign analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking across departments.
  • \n
  • Manage the Viking Rewards sales incentive vendor, ensuring issue resolution, funding accuracy, and compliance.
  • \n
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and documentation across reporting environments.
  • \n

Job Requirements:

\n
    \n
  • 5+ years’ experience in an analytics, reporting, or data insights role
  • \n
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field highly preferred
  • \n
  • Expert proficiency in Excel, including advanced modeling, Power Query, Power Pivot, macros, pivot tables, and lookup functions
  • \n
  • Familiarity with budget forecasting, performance analysis, marketing ROI reporting, accounting processes (accruals and invoicing) or sales planning and analysis highly preferred.
  • \n
  • Expert knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI
  • \n
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, with strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of data warehouses, ETL processes, and data governance best practices
  • \n
  • Experience managing and collaborating on complex projects involving data, IT and engineering teams to support new technology initiatives, products, features, reporting, automation, and data quality initiatives
  • \n
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast\u2011paced, global environment
  • \n
  • Experience analyzing consumer and B2B behavior including revenue performance, or yield metrics preferred
  • \n
  • Experience supporting cross\u2011functional teams such as Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, IT, etc.
  • \n
  • Ability to translate operational and commercial data into actionable insights for senior leadership
  • \n
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets from regions, markets and distribution channels (travel partners, agency and national account marketing spend, cruise nights, digital, etc.)
  • \n
  • Strong financial modeling and scenario analysis capabilities
  • \n
  • Ability to present insights to executives and non\u2011technical stakeholders
  • \n
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • \n
  • Proactive, solution\u2011oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
  • \n

    • Salary range $120,000 - $136,000 annually determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
