- Responsible for assisting in the creative development of print and digital communications, marketing, and sales initiatives by creating relevant and engaging content in a style and tone that convey the brand.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:- Develop high quality and sophisticated creative for print, and some digital media that reflect strategy and are reflective of the Oceania Cruises luxury brand standards.
- Responsible for the delivery of a wide variety of projects on time and within given budgets.
- Create high-quality collateral pieces from New Ship Inaugurals materials to Fleet and Destination brochures that can range from single pages up to 140 pages.
- Collaborate with all members of the marketing team to ensure all revisions and changes are done correctly, on time, and within brand standards.
- Work with outside vendors and printers to provide properly prepared art files per the vendor or printer's requirements.
- Successfully manage a large workload while bringing fresh direction and insight for a large variety of projects.
- Ensure and oversee creative execution of the highest quality ensuring that all projects are released error-free to vendors and meet the highest possible production standards.
- Be a Brand Steward helping the creative department adhere to and continually help develop the company's brand positioning as needed.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
DEGREE TYPE:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Graphic Design and/or Advertising preferably from Design/Fine Art Institution or any equivalent combination of relevant background and work experience..
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a Corporate or agency creative department required.
- Travel Industry experience a plus.
- Strong portfolio that includes print advertising, digital design, collateral design, logos, multi-media campaigns and video.
- Fluency in current graphic design practices and web production software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:
- Must be an expert in graphic design capable of leading and executing all creative aspects of a project as needed and have demonstrated an ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously and have strong business acumen.
- Strong working knowledge of all programs within the Adobe Creative Suite and the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash (Advanced Actionscript), HTML/CSS/XML/Javascript and Video Editing Software also desirable but not required.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to prepare files that are printer ready and meet exacting production standards.
- Strong conceptual skills, including creative design solutions within the constraints of the Internet.
- Exceptional client interaction skills exhibited in past job experience.
- Ability to create superior, original designs for Print and the Web, and high-quality printer ready files.
- Must have good time management, customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions.
- Organizational skills sufficient to prioritize work and complete assignments accurately, either independently or as part of a team.
- Candidate must present a PDF portfolio of sample work or website url with resume to be considered.
