Your Purpose

An exciting opportunity exists for a world class Wiper to join our newly created luxury travel brand “Explora Journeys”. The Wiper provides general assistance to Engine Officers and PettyOfficers in different tasks in the Engine Room, such as generalmaintenance and repair of the various machinery and equipment,material handling equipment throughout the ship includingelevators and winches, general cleaning and painting of theengine room, trash pick-up, tools and instruments pick up andcleaning.

Your Impact

-  Work always in accordance with acceptable standards,avoiding wastage of materials, and always respecting all injuryprevention rules.

-  Follow the daily instructions of the Foreman concerningmethods and procedures for the maintenance and cleanlinessof Engine spaces and machinery.

-  He must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 Kg.

 He must be physically able to participate in emergencylifesaving procedures and drills.

Your Journey So Far

-  Intermediate oral and written English (working and Safetylanguage of the Company).

- Previous work experience in a related field preferable.

Your Essentials

Full compliance with the requirement of the Law Flag State of the ship regarding Safety and health and physical requirements.Documentation according with STCW
