Do you have a passion for live entertainment, technical operations and delivering high‑quality experiences?
We’re seeking for a Lounge Technician to join our dynamic Entertainment Department onboard Costa vessels, ensuring excellent technical support for shows, activities and live performances.
What Makes You Unique
- Secondary school degree
- At least 1 year experience in technical services, theatre or live entertainment environments
- Basic knowledge of sound, video and lighting techniques
- Ability to operate audiovisual equipment (microphones, lights, speakers, mixers, video systems)
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
- Problem‑solving attitude and ability to react quickly in a fast‑paced entertainment environment
- English knowledge (at least B1 level)
Live Your Ambition, Lead Your Impact
You will ensure the correct technical setup and execution of all entertainment activities in lounges, public areas and pool decks, contributing to a professional, engaging and high‑quality onboard entertainment experience.
Daily Technical Operations & Support
- As a Lounge Technician, you will operate sound, light and video equipment to support daily and evening activities, arranging technical setups for performances and live music to ensure smooth and high‑quality events.
- You will supervise all audiovisual systems during entertainment activities, ensuring correct execution in line with Company procedures.
- You will provide the required equipment (microphones, lights, videos, music, cables) based on the requests of the Entertainment Department and onboard groups.
- You will follow the daily cruise program, ensuring the correct timing and airing of videos, lights and background music in lounge and public areas.
Maintenance, Storage & Coordination
- You will report any malfunction or technical issue to the Entertainment Technical Manager, ensuring fast and effective solutions.
- You will perform routine maintenance and support external providers during extraordinary maintenance activities.
- You will store all equipment in designated lockers, ensuring full compliance with Company rules and inventory management procedures.
- You will support musicians during disembarkation and embarkation, assisting with instrument setup and organizing the new sound and light configuration.
Safety Culture & Awareness
- You will actively contribute to a work environment that supports a strong safety culture.
- You will follow safety policies, procedures and operational standards, helping maintain a safe workplace for Guests and Crew.
